Village of
Lake Zurich Traffic Review
For over
15 years, Regina Webster & Associates has provided traffic
engineering support to the Village of Lake Zurich by reviewing
developer plans and conducting traffic studies. The reviewed
developments have ranged from large commercial and industrial sites
to small church facilities. The reviews performed by RWA engineers
have included intersection capacity analyses to assess the level of
traffic impact, speed studies and analyses, and stop sign warrant
analyses. RWA has conducted evaluations of on-street parking as well
as parking facility concepts and designs. Over the course of the
long-term association with the Village, RWA has made recommendations
for street geometrics, CBD internal circulation, striping, and
traffic control. As part of a recent review of the Downtown
Development Plan, RWA evaluated a proposed parking facility for
accessibility, capacity, and vehicular and pedestrian flow.
