Prairie Parkway Preliminary Engineering Study

Regina Webster & Associates is a subconsultant to Parsons Brinckerhoff on an extensive Preliminary Engineering Study for the Illinois Department of Transportation, District 2, for an area that includes the counties of Kane, Will, Kendall, LaSalle, Grundy, and DeKalb. RWA has completed work or the first part of the study by collecting traffic data at 14 intersections, incorporating regional planning and population forecast data to project background traffic data for 30 years, and by assessing roadway capacity analyses for current and future conditions. As the study progresses and a corridor improvement plan is identified, RWA will prepare intersection design studies and resulting improvement plans for key arterial routes that will comprise the Prairie Parkway Corridor.
